Qtech Group
About Qtech Qtech Group

A lunch. An idea. A network.

Qtech was born over lunch in 2012 — as a simple thought about changing how companies buy mechanical components, through collaboration with local suppliers rather than chasing the world market alone. Today we coordinate production for some of Sweden's leading industrial sectors. Here's how the journey has unfolded so far.

2012

A spring day at Hard Rock Café in Gothenburg.

Over lunch we decided to found Qtech Group. The idea was simple: change how companies buy mechanical components — through collaboration with local suppliers instead of each company trying to reach the world market on its own.

2013

ISO 9001 certified.

The Qvalify certification came just a year after we started. A management system, documentation and continuous improvement that meet industry standards.

2016

Our own facility in Anderstorp.

In the summer of 2016 we acquired our current facility at Grand Prixgatan 4 in Anderstorp — 5,500 m² of production space with room for warehousing, assembly, in-house production and offices under one roof.

2017

ISO 14001 certified.

Environmental management system in place. Structured handling of resources, emissions and chemicals — and higher demands on the suppliers in our network.

2022

First sustainability report.

We started producing an annual sustainability report — structure, figures and KPIs that track how the business evolves over time.

2023

EcoVadis Gold Medal.

Recognition from an independent party for our sustainability work — in the top 5% globally for sustainable supply chains. Confirms what we've been doing since 2013 with local suppliers and care for the environment.

2025

New office in Jönköping — and a new CEO.

In April we moved into larger premises at Science Park in Jönköping — more room for collaboration and students. In September Mikael Göthager took over as CEO. The year closed with our third EcoVadis Gold in a row and our first VSME report.

2026

ISO 45001 certified.

Occupational health and safety management system audited by Qvalify. A structured approach to safety, the working environment and risk prevention across production.

Today

The spider at the centre of the web — between ~50 suppliers and you.

5,500 m² in Anderstorp, in-house CNC workshop, welding, assembly and warehouse. Around 50 suppliers in the network, 80% in the GGVV region. Three ISO certifications and EcoVadis Gold.

What we stand for

Three things we don't compromise on.

01 — Sustainability

Local suppliers first.

80% of our suppliers are in the GGVV region. We work with efficient, flexible and environmentally responsible suppliers. Qtech also works with customer-specific suppliers in Asia, Europe and North America.

Our sustainability work
02 — Equality

The right competence — whoever you are.

At Qtech we care about equality. We strive to build the best team to drive the company forward together in a rapidly accelerating world where stakeholder demands keep rising. We simply look for the right competence regardless of gender, ethnicity or title.

Careers with us
03 — Ethics

What we say no to.

Qtech will not tolerate, and will not condone, slavery, forced or involuntary labour, child labour, human trafficking or sex trafficking — by any employee, agent, subcontractor or supplier — in the conduct or support of our business or the manufacture and distribution of our products.
