Privacy policy.

We respect your privacy. This page explains what data we collect, why, and what rights you have under GDPR.

What we collect

We collect personal data in the following cases:

  • Contact form: your name, email and message — only to reply to your enquiry.
  • Recruitment: data you share when applying via hr@qtechgroup.se. We keep it for the duration of the recruitment process and delete it within 6 months unless otherwise agreed.
  • Cookies: see the section below.

Legal basis

We process personal data based on legitimate interest (answering enquiries), contract (existing customer relationships) or consent (cookies for embedded content).

Cookies and embedded content

The site uses two types of cookies:

  • Essential: to make the site work (e.g. store your cookie choice). Cannot be disabled.
  • Embedded content: we show a LinkedIn feed via Elfsight. If you accept, Elfsight loads cookies from linkedin.com and elfsight.com. If you decline, only a link to LinkedIn is shown.

You can change your cookie choice at any time by clearing the site's localStorage in your browser.

Third parties

We do not share personal data with third parties except when required to deliver the service (e.g. Cloudflare to host the site, Elfsight for the LinkedIn feed if you have accepted). These parties are data processors under GDPR.

Retention

Contact enquiries are kept for 12 months after the last contact. Recruitment applications are removed within 6 months after the recruitment process closes. Cookie choices are kept in your browser until you clear them.

Your rights

Under GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request the data we hold about you
  • Have inaccurate data corrected
  • Have your data deleted (the right to be forgotten)
  • Object to processing and request restriction
  • Transfer your data (data portability)

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (imy.se).
